The Kromski Presto Loom Stand turns your 10" Presto rigid heddle loom into a freestanding weaving station. Instead of bracing the loom between your lap and a table edge, you sit up straight with the loom held steady in front of you, tilted to the angle that suits your posture. Weave from an armchair, the sofa, or out on the porch.
How it works
The loom drops into the forked tops of two wooden uprights and is held by a bolt and black knob on each side. Below that, a curved metal support links each upright to the loom frame. Loosen the black knob and the loom pivots along the curve, from nearly flat to steeply angled, then tighten it to lock in place. The stand reuses the brass knobs already on your loom, and the Presto's metal table feet clip onto the stand's cross brace, where they double as a rest for your shuttle.
Choose the right size
This stand fits the 10" (25 cm) Presto only. For the 16" Presto, choose the 40 cm / 16 in stand.
Finishes
-
Unfinished: natural wood to match the unfinished Presto. Leave it bare or finish it with oil or wax.
-
White: Kromski's off-white finish, made to pair with the Mint, Light Pink, Lavender and Harbor Blue Presto looms.
In the box
Two upright posts, one cross brace, two feet, two curved metal supports, all bolts, knobs and washers, an Allen wrench, and illustrated step-by-step instructions. You will need a flat-head screwdriver to line up the barrel nuts during assembly. Snug the bolts without overtightening them into the wood. The stand comes apart again with the same Allen wrench for storage.
The loom is sold separately. Need one? See the Kromski Presto Rigid Heddle Loom.
