Match the heddle to your loom and yarn
Start with fit. Heddles are made for one loom model and width, so a heddle from another brand, or even a different width of the same loom, usually won't work. Once you know it fits, choose the dent count for your yarn. More dents per inch space the warp closer together for finer yarns, and fewer dents leave room for thicker ones. A small sample is still the best way to confirm your sett before you commit to a full project.
