Deborah's Learning to Weave book is far and away the next best thing to taking an in-person weaving class. 

Learning to Weave covers weaving on a floor loom from the very beginning and teaches a new weaver warping, drafting, and weave structure.  While the book is targeted specifically for new weavers, more advanced weavers are often well served to pickup some of Deborahs tips and tricks. 

Each lesson concludes with troubleshooting and assignments to help advance the reader's understanding and general knowledge. Overall it is the perfect refresher course or class substitute that can be used as a reference for ongoing weaving guidance. 

Note: This book is a particulary wonderful reference for all Schacht Wolf Looms, but the techniques taught apply to weaving on any floor loom.
