Our table loom has a 15″ weaving width. It’s available with 4 or 8 shafts.

Table looms are great for classroom use, workshops, sampling, and small projects. They are ideal for learning about four- and eight-shaft pattern weaving, since the direct tie-up through hand levers allows for infinite experimentation.

Delivery time

Products from Schacht Spindle Company are custom made, by skilled craftspeople in Boulder Colorado. Due to high demand current lead times are about 4-6 weeks. (updated Feb. 2023)

Schacht table looms are expertly crafted of the finest hard maple and built for maximum structural stability. Many schools use our table looms and find they weather well after many years of heavy use.

We use fine-toothed nylon gears on both the warp and cloth beams, which allow precise tension control. Use either hand to select shafts with the front-mounted levers—you can also see which shafts are raised at a glance.

Schacht table looms are available in 15″ weaving width with four or eight shafts. The looms come with a stainless steel reed in your choice of 6, 8, 10, 12, or 15 dents. Inserted eye heddles, three apron bars, and two lease sticks are also included.

Schacht Table Looms to not come with a Table Stand, but one can be purchased separately here.
