A 3-stitch rib wanders through imbricated Garter squares, connecting corner to corner, creating a zigzag ridge along the way on this reversible chunky scarf.
Wander is worked flat, constructed of imbricated Garter squares with a 3-stitch 1x1 rib in the middle. Stitches are decreased following the rib, corner to corner to build squares, then stitches are cast on and picked up from the previous square’s edge for the next square. The 3-stitch rib is never decreased, travelling in side by side ridges, making zigzags through these squares.
This is a wonderfully fun pattern to knit up, and uses 4 skeins of Koozoo Yarn, depending on your sizing preferances.
The main sample image is knit up in Koozoo colorway #7027.
