These carded sliver fibers are spread into a web, unlike combed top, making it quick and easy to felt. The presence of short staples, nepps and nubbs gives texture to the completed piece. While this wool is spinnable for finer yarns, we recommend one of our combed tops for spinning instead of this fiber.
