Schacht End Delivery Feed Shuttle - These Schacht End Feed Shuttles are the ultimate in shuttles, designed especially and precisely for handweavers. They are lightweight, comfortable to throw and catch, adjustable to a variety of yarns, and easy—really easy—to thread. Available in 12″ and 15″ sizes. End Feed Shuttles have pirns instead of bobbins. The weft yarn is unwound from the tip of the pirn when the shuttle is in motion and stops unwinding when the shuttle stops.  The fixed bobbin and tensioner in these end-delivery shuttles allow you to weave faster and produce straighter, cleaner selvedges. The 12" shuttle takes a 6" pirn. The 15" shuttle takes an 8" pirn.
