This new rigid heddle loom features a sleek modern look, paired with the same quality craftsmanship you’ve come to expect from Kromski. The striking design offers a raised metal beam for a beautiful weaving area. Each of the metal braces on the bottom of the loom are adorned with small rubber feet that protect the top of your work surface as well as prevent the loom from slipping as you weave.

Delivery time

Kromski spinning wheels, looms & fiber preparation tools typically ship in 1-3 business days, unless otherwise noted.

The Presto also includes a new Warp Helper Loop which provides perfect stability between the heddle and the dowel rod while warping the loom. This simple addition acts as an extra set of hands, making the warping process a breeze. The Presto features the metal ratchet and pawl with corresponding rare earth magnets which provide incredibly secure tension locking abilities.

And as an extra treat, each loom comes with a skein of hand dyed, DK weight yarn and instructions to complete a first scarf project. Each skein is dyed especially for the Presto Scarf in our North America office.

All Presto Looms ship with single heddle blocks. Kromski has included instructions on how to receive a set of double heddle blocks when they become available.

About Kromski & Sons

Leon Kromski began a wood turning business in 1918 and operated it until 1939 when the impact of WWII and Communism made it impossible to continue. Today the family business is continued by Leon’s sons: Wojciech & Daniel Kromski. Their principal products are spinning wheels – now numbering 7 very distinct and well engineered models, and in 2001, Kromski developed and launched the very popular rigid heddle loom, the Kromski Harp, followed shortly by the Presto. Kromski also manufactures accessories for spinning and weaving, such as spinning stools, niddy noddies, and shuttles.
